Mind Mirror Project
at The Monroe Institute
Join us for a pioneering Mind Mirror study at The Monroe Institute during their "Journeys: A Voyage to Happiness," a new program set for June 17-23 on their beautiful campus nestled in the blue mountains of Virginia.
Participants will be hooked up to the Mind Mirror while experiencing meditations featuring TMI's spatial angle modulation (SAM) technology and during group synchronization meditations. Judith Pennington, Robin Bernhard, and Laura Eichman will do the monitoring. We expect to map very expanded states of consciousness with our new 0.5-100 Hz EEG sensors – and will let you know the results. Or come and journey with us!

Read full description of the program

The Monroe Institute advances the exploration of human consciousness and the experience of expanded states of awareness as a path to creating a life of personal freedom, meaning, insight, and happiness.

The Monroe Institute® (TMI) is a preeminent leader in human consciousness exploration. TMI is devoted to the premise that focused consciousness contains the answers to humankind's questions. Through the use of technology, education, research, and development, TMI has been advancing the experience of individuals in the exploration of targeted and expanded states of awareness for more than 40 years.

TMI program participants learn experientially through a specially designed audio-guidance system at our 300-acre residential retreat nestled in Virginia's scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, just outside Charlottesville's city limits. Founded in the early 1970s as an educational and research organization by inventor and sound pioneer Robert Monroe, TMI offers numerous week-long and week-end residential programs on the main campus in Faber, Virginia, and over 200 programs throughout the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and Asia. The centerpiece of TMI learning is the guided use of Hemi-Sync® and Spatial Angle Modulation™ (SAM) Monroe audio technologies.

Tens of thousands of people have attended the Institute's residential and Outreach programs, and millions have benefited from our educational materials. TMI works with researchers and practitioners, through university and clinical collaborations, and with our Professional Division members and Board of Advisors. Anecdotal and empirical reporting on the application of Monroe technologies is available in our research section. In addition to Robert Monroe's three books on out-of-body experiences, see our e-Book entitled "Gateway to the Human Mind."
